A/C Ground Group II – ERJ Practice Exam Prep & Complete Study Guide

The preflight inspection of the cabin communication system is specifically not required for the AFT FA on the ERJ 175. In the context of cabin crew responsibilities, each flight attendant has specific duties aimed at ensuring passenger safety and comfort. The AFT FA's responsibilities include ensuring that emergency exits are accessible and operational, inspecting onboard supplies for passenger needs, and checking the lavatory for cleanliness and functionality.

While communication systems are crucial in managing emergencies and coordinating with the flight deck or other crew members, the formal inspection of these systems is not a designated responsibility for the AFT FA. Their focus is more on direct passenger safety features and onboard amenities. Therefore, the other options pertain to actions that are directly tied to passenger safety and comfort, making them necessary inspections for the role of the AFT FA.
